We are looking for the right person who really wants to dig in and make a difference in our company. Our Director of Growth will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation and execution of our audience growth & acquisition engine. You will work closely with the founders to chart future growth strategies for our properties.
If you’re that rare breed who can be equal parts strategic (able to ideate big, targeted, well-thought-out campaign ideas) and analytical (with the data-crunching chops to tell us how they performed and why), we want to hear from you. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an impressive track record of successfully driving user acquisition for a mobile app or comparable consumer tech product to join our small but immensely talented and energetic team.

What We’d Like to See in Your Background
5+ years professional experience leading the strategy, creation and optimization of highly effective performance marketing/acquisition programs
Experience with search engine marketing, paid social advertising, display/mobile advertising and affiliate marketing
Experience with organic and influencer/viral marketing (particularly on Instagram and YouTube)
Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data and present new ideas and/or strategies based on information
Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Expert with common marketing KPIs, metrics, and growth experiments
Experience – and desire – to do both strategic marketing and daily execution and optimization
Native understanding of Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snap and similar networks
Obsessed with learning better ways to acquire massive volume of targeted users at a low cost
How You’ll Spend Your Days
Develop overall performance marketing strategy and plan for our core mobile products
Create and optimize performance marketing programs in order to generate new downloads/acquire new users
Design tests, measure impact and learn through a results-driven mindset
Work with external agency partners and/or contractors to develop highly effective marketing programs
Own all budgeting, forecasting and reporting for key performance marketing initiatives
Launch, analyze and optimize campaigns across multiple online channels (social, search, display, and email) to drive both short-term and long-term results
Research and recommend new KPIs, tools and processes for further scaling our efforts
